I just can’t get enough of today’s whimsical elopement style shoot from Bit of Ivory Photography and Bouquets & Blooms! It harkens back to its source of inspiration (Midsummer’s Nights Dream) by being shot in the UK and of course by being filled with fun and whimsy!
From Bit of Ivory Photography – “Inspired by the mystery and magic of Midsummer Night’s Dream and the beauty of antiquity, UK wedding florist, Louise Bowditch of Bouquets and Blooms, and I, hardcore Anglophile wedding photographer, dreamed up an elopement that spun rich, jewel-toned hues with a modern classic bridal touch set against the backdrop of the ruins of a 13th century abbey.
With a whimsically painted elopement announcement, a small naked cake, wild and textured blooms, and one gorgeous pup named Ruby dappled in her own flower collar (and the wildest, most gorgeous eyebrows), this sweet elopement channeled a bit of faerie and wedded bliss.”
