With a unique and chic sense of style, Australian couple Kieran and Heather eloped to Joshua Tree National Park and the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Lucky for us, Gaby J Photography was there to capture it all!
From the bride, Heather – “Kieran and I started dating when we were 17. These 11 years have been full of growth, adventure and general mischief! We visited Joshua Tree National Park one summer and it blew our minds. We spent hours exploring the park, and then of course visited the Joshua Tree Inn for some GP love. From that moment on we knew we would return. The park is so much fun, so incredibly beautiful and just plain weird!
When Kieran proposed we already had a holiday to America booked with our two friends. We thought about it for a while, and although it was totally heartbreaking to imagine a wedding without our family and best friends, we knew Joshua Tree NP was the place! The vast, peaceful (and a bit mysterious) desert represents us and our love for nature and music.
The intimacy and simplicity of the ceremony was perfect! Champagne and dancing at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs was the icing on the cake. Our first dance was to ‘If Not For You’ by Bob Dylan!”
