From Amber Michelle Events – “Utah’s breathtaking mountains and the love of my two best friends was the inspiration for this shoot! With all of the bells and whistles of a lot of weddings in grand venues, there is nothing better than disconnecting yourself from the world and sharing your love surrounded by the simple yet complex mountains of mother nature.”
From Amber Michelle Events – “I live in Utah part-time and have realized a lot of people in other areas jump to the conclusion that Utah has nothing to offer beyond the Salt Flats and the Morman Temple however, there is so much more to Utah! I took this opportunity to show Utah off through this breathtaking wedding inspiration shoot. Our photographer, Anastasia Strate, captured the sunset lighting to give our shoot that intimate feel of these two young lovebirds, who have been together for five years.
I wanted to compliment the woodsy deep colors of the forest and all of the surrounding greenery by using berry accents, brass details, dark wood furniture, with shades of purple, green, pink and burgundy for some pop of color. If you look closely you can catch the invitation suite had all of these details all condensed into one area! I wanted to go with romantic blooms with lots of wild greenery to blend right into the wild landscape of the canyon.”
