You’re just going to love all the stylish, retro details in today’s Mod-inspired wedding editorial by Kristyn Hogan and Cedarwood Weddings. With a fun, festive color palette of aqua + yellow and geometric details – there’s a whole lot love to here!
From Cedarwood Weddings – “We have to admit that we’ve been swept away by mod style for several years, instigated by the accession of our first vintage Airstream. Authentic vintage furniture in aqua and wood set the tone for this elopement, made modern with mixed metal details.
Embracing the simplicity of flower design of the 70’s, we focused on clusters of yellow roses and daisies. The play of patterns is a significant part of the event design, repeating geometric shapes in tabletop elements, paper goods and wedding cake. The reception laser-cut backdrop pattern is also used in a bunting for the Airstream altar.
The bride and bridesmaid wore vintage inspired dresses with modern appeal. Our goal was to create a fun and youthful environment with styling rooted in the lifestyle of a former, free-spirited decade!”
