Sometimes I get a submission in my inbox that stops me in my tracks and really makes me think and today’s anniversary session from Aloe Vera Photography did exactly that. It’s not fancy, it’s not filled with pretty flowers or flowing dresses like most of the features here on Burnett’s Boards, but it does celebrate the most important thing – love.
It’s beautiful in its raw simplicity and that why I adore these images so much. If you could capture the word love with a photograph, these do it!
Armando and Maura’s anniversary session reminds us to remember to take pleasure in one another’s company and to show the joy we feel in being together, no matter how long we’ve been together!
From Aloe Vera Photography – “Armando and Maura remind us that life is an unknown and we should not spend that precious time and energy being gloomy. The more love you give, the more love you’ll have returned. The entire time we photographed Armando and Maura during their anniversary session we were all laughing and full of smiles. They’re so joyous!”
From Aloe Vera Photography – “Armando and Maura wanted a natural photoshoot, something from their ‘everyday’ – so their walk along the beach, which they do often together, was perfect. They live in Turino, a city in the north of Italy. They travel a lot (8 times to India!) and they both work as actors in the Turinsk theatre. When you look into their eyes you can see not only their ongoing love for each other, but their love of life!”

Sara, this is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing something that isn’t a millennial wedding with a million details. I am so proud to have been featured on BB in the past, especially since you really do seem to understand what love is all about. I’m so happy you’ve deviated from the rest of the crowd to show something so utterly sweet and romantic. It’s brilliant.
Thank you so much for saying this! Honestly this shoot stopped me in my tracks – in fact I only had it in my inbox the other week and I’m fully booked until August but I just HAD to publish asap! It’s so darling, such a fabulous reminder of what really matters.
*This* is what it’s all about. Absolutely love it!
This is so sweet! Love is what it’s all about 🙂
