This minimalistic & modern shoot was conceived by the textures of wheat and the color of copper by Alexandra Elise Photography. The warm accents paired nicely with the soft grey walls, and the textured brick interior accents!
From Alexandra Elise Photography – “Working in the wedding industry, there is always an abundance of florals that create the enchanting decor. We tried something different with this shoot – using copper measuring cups and filling them with painted dried seed and floral pods along with long, dried, stalks of wheat.
The mixed metal decor went exquisitely with the nude wedding dress with floral lace and grey grosgrain ribbon sash! After the portraits inside with the styled decor, we ventured out in the cold for wintry bridal portraits by the river where the color palette remained very similar – cool grey tones in the sky and water and the bright copper-colored dried brush in the background.
All photos taken with film Kodak Portra 400 on a Pentax 645n.”

I adore this combination!
I love the emergence of copper in weddings lately. So pretty!
Oh my word, this wheat + copper combination is absolutely incredible! Thanks for sharing. The warm accents look great against the brick wall! Can’t wait to share this inspiration with our brides at our parlor venue.
