From Shannon: “The inspiration for this shoot comes from that seasonal transition when Winter is receding and Spring is tip-toeing in with longer days and warmer nights. The snow starts to melt back into the Atlantic and muted grays and blues prevail. Once yellows and pinks start to color the New England landscape, it’s really magical. This time feels sacred and breathes new life into our souls and gives us hope for the fruitful (and warmer!) days to come!
The flowers used were ranunculus, garden roses, hellebores and hydrangea. Silver brunia, seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller was also brought in for texture and neutral colors. All were designed in weathered patina finished compote vases to evoke a timeless and romantic feeling.
From Shannon: “Marie, the bride, is wearing an amazing custom blue dress by Gossamer and topped off with a faux fur shrug. Her ladies are decked out in coordinating grayish blues, each with their own, unique faux fur topper. Owen, the groom, and his men are repping maritime life with their cable knit sweaters and layers. This real couple and their baby were the perfect fit for this shoot and radiate such joy and love for each other!”
