I’ve always been such a huge fan of the chinoiserie look! Chinese motifs combined with 18th century European art makes for such a unique style, especially when used as a wedding theme.
The lovely ladies of Two Be Wed made chinoiserie fresh again by pairing it with a summery tropical vibe and a super chic couple at one seriously gorgeous (and historic) beachside hotel lawn in Galveston, Texas. Joseph West Photography captured all the magic perfectly!
From Two Be Wed – “The Hotel Galvez in Galveston, Texas, was a winter retreat for the very wealthy. It’s located near one of the oldest ports in the United States and is teeming with history! Despite being once destroyed by fire and again leveled by a hurricane, Galveston remains alive and vibrant to this very day.
Inspired by two vintage postcards we brought chinoiserie style to life with urns and combined the look with Galveston’s tropical, summery style with touches of flamingo pink and lots of tropical floral designs.”
