From Melissa Durham Photography – “The Blue Ridge Mountains are home to an incredible number of amazing scenic locations, and Falling Springs of Covington, Virginia was the perfect location for this styled shoot!
The inspiration for the shoot was drawn from the beauty of the falls, with the goal to bring in a pop of gorgeous fuchsia, violet, and jade, with a few sapphire accents.”
From Melissa Durham Photography – “The florals were a mix of purple, winter kale, thistle, heather, limonium and privet berries, and eucalyptus, accented with violet and fuchsia ribbons. The boutonniere was the perfect accent to the bouquet of wild flowers and was completed with an axe lapel pin.
The tablescape was decorated with wild greenery and berries, bohemian inspired, jewel-toned glassware and dessert stands. The cake was a gorgeous two-tiered wildflower inspired cake, with hand-drawn florals, gold painted fondant, and sugar flowers. An antipasto spread was the perfect way to finish off a small, personal table of indulgent, romantic bites!”
