From Andie Reavely of A Visual Anthology – “I have photographed many ‘new love’ and ‘young love’ couples but wanted to take a real life, married couple that has been through life and possess a tried and true ‘old love.’ New love is precious… but old love, it’s breathtaking!
This married couple celebrated their 32nd year of marriage and wanted to put together a commemorative shoot, in the style of Out of Africa / British Colonial. I partnered with a few vendors in the Portland area to make their dreams come true!”
“This specific shoot was tailored to the couple, incorporating elements that are true to them, such as: poems written to each other, victrola gifted to his wife for their 12th Christmas together, glassware from her vintage green glass collection, and different scenes inspired by their life together. They were an absolutely inspiration and magical pair to shoot!”
