From Igor Kovchegin Photography – “A white and blue theme underlies the concept of this wedding inspiration shoot. We wanted to make the look of it modern and up to date whilst still classic and timeless. Neoclassic with a touch of romance!”
From Igor Kovchegin Photography – “White and blue painted ceramics have been reflected throughout many global cultures. This style started in China and as the East India Company became popular in Europe the style went global. In this wedding editorial we used Chinese vases, dishes found at flea markets in both Paris and Amsterdam, and incorporated handmade tablecloths and vintage silverware and crystal.”
“White peonies and fragrant mock-orange emphasized the beauty of the color palette and the aesthetics of the shoot. We also involved a retro car in this editorial – classic in its purest form! To keep our look modern while still elegant the bride and bridesmaids wore separates and instead of complex hairstyle their hair and makeup was loose and natural.
We loved mixing freshness with modernity and showcasing a harmonious mix of modern and classic.”
