From the Bride & Groom, Emily and Anton – “From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding in a location that was meaningful to us. In the 1940s my grandfather began the tradition of family ski trips in Stowe, Vermont which have continued to this day.
We knew Stowe would be a great destination and offer so many fun activities for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. As an added touch, a few years ago we attended a friend’s wedding at Topnotch Resort so we had already experienced the stunning setting first-hand. All of my childhood memories from the area and our shared love of the outdoors, combined with a beautiful resort property made it the perfect location for our wedding weekend!”
“We were so happy to be able to use mostly local vendors all of whom were so talented and easy to work with. Nancy from A Schoolhouse Garden perfectly translated my vision of elegant but colorful flowers. Ashley Largesse was a dream photographer whom we had so much fun working with and captured the day so beautifully. Them Apples Band was phenomenal, keeping our friends and family on the dance floor the whole night with both their energy and sheer talent.
Instead of a traditional bridal party, we opted to keep it just immediate family, allowing our 150 guests to fully enjoy the weekend, taking advantage of all Stowe has to offer. We are so grateful to them for traveling both near and far, it truly made our wedding perfect.”
