From Olga of Fleurs de Reve – “In our wedding inspiration shoot we tried to create a new representation of tale of Cinderella: a stylized Cinderella’s morning when she is preparing to the ball!
“We used the monochrome, textured and slightly peeling walls of the old mansion in the center of St. Petersburg as backdrop along with pumpkins painted in gray, dried hogweed, an old sieve filled with charcoal, gray gauze, and finally, a smoky-gray dress.
A huge armful of delphinium, which our heroine can barely hold, makes her looking even more fragile and tender. Flowers flow from her hands onto the dress in the form of hand-painted floral artwork.”
“While choosing the decor we were eager for contrast. You can see how naturally co-exist: a very common galvanized basin and a vintage crystal jar with silver, dried, slightly blackened hemlock and delicate white delphinium, and flowers floating in the basin becoming almost watercolor.”
