From the photographer, Yana Zolotoverkhaya– “This destination wedding inspiration shoot took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Prague. It is situated in a historical building from the 14th century and is full of natural light and air due to the incredibly high ceilings and long arched hallway. The architecture of the hotel and the spirit of Prague during the early springtime became the main themes for this editorial.”
“To mirror the cozy and romantic gray sky we used misty colors in pastels. The bride’s boudoir dress was dusty blue and her wedding dress was pale blush. For a bit more color hinting at the coming season we incorporated a brighter palette into the flowers. It emphasized the youth of our couple, their love for each other and the freshness of springtime.
The wedding bouquet is composed of ranunculus, hellebores and garden roses is a bunch of spring hues and subtle aromas.”
“A fine art atmosphere of the wedding was kept with all wedding details, for example calligraphy stationary set and the vintage sapphire ring, which is at least a hundred years old and had been handed down from generation to generation.
The groom was waiting for bride on the terrace with the magnificent view of old Prague. The ceremony was prepared in the long hall with the arch ceiling and columns, which were decorated with flowers.”
“The table decor and designer cake were styled to match the main colors of this wedding inspiration shoot and we also added some vintage flatware and personal card with calligraphy. Burning candles made the atmosphere of the reception table more intimate.”
