From photographer Erin Lee Allender – “We fell in love with the refinement and sophistication of Netflix’s The Crown and wanted to translate that into the wedding world. It is really the only time in your life that you feel like royalty is at your wedding so why not embrace it?”
“Photographed at the historic East Ivy Mansion in Nashville TN, the color palette was inspired by the British flag and extended from the flowers to the napkins to the invitations. Modern and vintage pieces were combined to bring in the 50s area monarchy to the present day and to show that you can combine both old and new to add character to your event.”
“The mansion is timelessly decorated with unique furnishings. With their gorgeous rod iron windows and stunning chandeliers, it was evident that this venue was perfect for a queen! But to add even more character we brought in some eclectic vintage touches from local Nashville vendor Two Monkey’s Vintage. From the bar to the salt shakers their pieces just bring a bit of character to any setting.”
“We couldn’t do a themed shoot around The Crown without Eden Luxe Bridals’ Belle – their crystal rose gold tiara. From the moment we placed the crown on our bride’s head it was as if the fairy tale had begun. We would love future brides to be inspired and live out their little girl fantasy of being Queen for a day on what will be one of the most memorable days of their lives!”
