We often see engagements and wedding inspiration shoots from places like Venice, Tuscany, and the Italian Riviera. This engagement editorial from Natalia Shatruik showcases not only the love of Simona and Federico, but also the beauty of Sardinia. It’s the perfect mix of Italian vivaciousness and laid-back Mediterranean vibes that this island is known for!
From Natalya Shatruk – “Simonа has a tremendous, magnetic beauty and the fragility of a true Italian girl. Federico is tall and stately, a warrior, which had the reputation of Sardis since the days of the pharaohs!
We spent the whole day in the beautiful town of San Sperate, known for its many colorful houses with wall painting murals created by local artists. These paintings mainly tell about the daily life of the village of Sardis such as peasants working in the fields or the gardens, and various Sardinian celebrations. In these photos are not only the love story of two young people, but the story of their roots and the traditions of their land. So touching and unique!”
