From Borrowed Charm – “We drew inspiration from the vibrant colors, artwork, and heritage that surrounded the venue in the Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Old Trinity is a beautiful and intimate wedding venue, so we wanted to be loud with color and unique details to compliment this unique space.
Given the colorful and unique vibe our wedding inspiration shoot was aiming to capture, we felt that the Paseo district with its Spanish revival architecture, eclectic art atmosphere and vibrant colorful buildings was the perfect setting!”
“For our floral designs we wanted something very vibrant and colorful with pops of different colors that surround the simple chapel painted on buildings, fences, and artwork. We used this idea with the wedding cake as well, but took it to a whole other level with a fire and ice look. The smooth, white, 4-tier wedding cake was adorned with red, orange, and yellow bursts of color along with small touches of fresh green.”
“Our bride wore a lace gown that really stood out beautifully against our colorful wedding palette. For DIY details we enjoyed creating colorful pom poms to string as décor as well as pom pom sticks to celebrate with!
Atop a 100-year-old vintage table we used simple white plates with a stunning green garland, colorful accents, brass candlesticks, and geometric shapes to display colorful blooms and fun tapered candles. It really was a beautifully festive tablescape! We decorated it from top to bottom, installing small décor at ground level, to the vintage red upholstered seating for our bride and groom.”
