how to have a winter wonderland wedding in florida

From Harmony Lynn Photography & Melanie Paige Events “Our design inspiration for this wedding editorial comes from our white winter obsession! Here in Florida, we struggle to get into the winter spirit so we were eager to express all of our winter wedding ideas in this shoot. It’s a great way for a Florida bride to have the winter wedding of her dreams!”

“Our flowers were a mixture of lush greenery with a full bouquet, bridal crown, and a linear and low centerpiece for the tablescape. The large harvest table is topped with a DIY chunky knit runner, copper chargers, alabaster dinner plates, copper goblets, Moscow mules, and milk glass cups.

An earthy green and beaded linen napkin is topped with a modern cut green watercolor name tag which goes along with the personal menus. White industrial chairs were the perfect touch for the all white wood walls of the barn!”

“For attire we paired a tulle skirt with an off the shoulder sweater for our winter-inspired bridal look. We also added mittens and a chunky arm knit shawl. Because it’s a winter wonderland wedding – we featured two all white, naked drip wedding cakes adorned with mini pies, macarons, and pie pieces. We also made a matching pie to bring the look together. Plus, what winter bride wouldn’t want some cozy hot chocolate topped with mini pies and marshmallows!”
