From Laure Lalliard Design – “The inspiration infused in this editorial is about the modern holy woman. It is an ode to timeless femininity with subtle details for a joyful, gracious and loving bride. It is inspired by the French heritage of Christianity in Gaul with its small Roman churches; combining the French heritage of Reims, the capital of champagne, with a fresh eye.
The look is minimalist and the extreme simplicity of the elements brings sophistication to the design. It blends religious, traditional heritage with the Savoir faire of the French tradition to bring a soft feminine touch: biscuits roses de Reims, champagne, lace and flowers to give it a modern twist.”
“The color palette of the flowers ranges from muted pink to various shades of champagne. The round shapes of the flowers bring us warmth and contrasts with the cold weather of the winter. The flowers in the arrangements are ranunculus, anemones, garden roses, branches and seasonal foliage.
The cake is a two tier wedding cake. The paint touches of soft pink give a spontaneous and modern feel and the golden leaf make it precious. Just like an art piece!”
“The wedding dress was chosen for a romantic and whimsical bride. The detachable tulle skirt was perfect to give this ethereal feeling. The bustier of the wedding dress is very clean and accessorized with a top made of French dentelle to blend tradition with modernity.
The look is minimalist so the hair accessory is a halo of Swarovski that gives a sense of whimsy to the bride.”
“The table has some refined vintage element of furniture. I instantly fell in love with the chairs when I first saw them. I knew they would be the essential element of the decor of the tablescape. The blush glossy plates combined with brass tableware bring modernity and femininity to the table. The white taper candles add sophistication to the minimalist design and the floral arrangements in small golden bowls as center pieces of the table. I designed the ceramic compote and asked a potter friend to recreate them and loved the result!”
