empire wedding

From Cody Krogman Photography “Fun, refreshing, and modern – that’s what we had in mind when designing the Empire shoot. The eclectic elements seamlessly fell into place and our real life couple fit the role perfectly!”

“The whole shoot started with the peacock plate and the birds shown on the sweet heart table.  We loved how unique and fresh they were.  With that in mind we wanted to put together something that was still pretty, but hadn’t necessarily been seen before.  We took lively colors, bold style choices, and softened them with intentional touches like the dress and bouquet.”

“We let Flowers and Weeds know our design inspiration and gave them free rein on the final outcome. They blew it out of the park! We wanted a cake that really made an impression and that was unique. Big Laugh Kitchen took our idea and gave something bright, beautiful, and memorable.”

“The enchanted bride is known for classic styles. We knew this is where we needed to dial our eclectic inspiration back a bit and balance it with something very feminine and pretty so it wasn’t overkill with the rest of the shoot. Winnie provided us with the perfect custom dress that fit the bride perfectly. The groom is wearing a vintage style from a local thrift shop.”
